This system was about 750 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, as of Monday morning, local time.

Current Storm Information, Infrared Satellite Image
Roslyn will move gerenally toward the northeast through Tuesday, before curling back toward the northwest thereafter, according to the National Hurricane Center forecast.

Projected Path
Roslyn will have a short lifespan, however.
Wind shear and colder water will quickly lead to this system's demise later in the week as it remains well off the Baja California peninsula.
Unlike with Hurricane Paine, little, if any, remnant moisture from this system will be drawn into Baja California and the Southwest U.S.
