A pleasant weekend is in store for the Seattle area.
"This weekend, a ridge of high pressure will build along the West Coast and allow for the return of sunshine and warmer air," AccuWeather Meteorologist Brett Rathbun said.

Highs may approach record levels by early next week with temperatures in the low 80s F. Daytime highs are normally in the low 60s for the end of April and start of May.
