A stretch of dry weather is on tap for the Atlanta area, spanning the second half of the week and into the weekend.
Thursday and Friday will be dry with more sun than clouds and highs in the 50s. The temperatures are right around normal for this time of year.

The dry weather will carry over into the weekend as temperatures jump into the 60s, good news for those heading outside this weekend.
The last time that Atlanta had back-to-back days in the 60s was at the end of December.

This dry weather pattern may not last much longer than the weekend as unsettled weather approaches from the West.
Showers, and potentially a few thunderstorms, may move into northern Georgia as early as Monday with the threat continuing on Tuesday.
The 60-degree warmth will continue despite the increase in clouds and chance for rain with highs potentially making a run toward 70 F on Monday or Tuesday.
