Heavy Rain and Severe Weather Forecast for November 30 - December 6, 2015 (FORECAST)

November 29,2015
No severe thunderstorms are forecast as we head into December, as instability is expected to be too weak for thunderstorm activity.
Locally heavy rain, however, will move through the East through Wednesday, which may create some travel impacts. The southern Plains will see much drier conditions this upcoming week after the flooding that was observed over Thanksgiving weekend.
Travel delays are also possible courtesy of Winter Storm Delphi, which will bring snow, sleet and some ice to portions of the central and northern Plains, as well as sections of the Upper Midwest through Wednesday morning.

Thursday - Sunday
  • A few thunderstorms may develop in central and southern Florida on Thursday and into early Friday, but severe thunderstorms are not expected.
