At first
glance you’ll think it’s snow, but something much more unusual covered
about a dozen cars at a Chicago dealership Tuesday.
A wall at a Morton Salt storage warehouse in northwest Chicago collapsed, burying cars at the Acura dealership next door.
Witnesses tell the Chicago Sun Times they heard a big crash, then turned to see a huge pile of salt pour out of the side of the building.
The impact was enough to move a few of the vehicles from their original parking spaces. An aerial photo from Chicago’s ABC 7 shows how the cars were shoved out of place.

No one was injured, but as many as 11 cars were damaged.
Investigators aren’t sure what caused the building to collapse but one theory is workers had piled the salt too high, putting too much pressure on the building's old walls, ABC 7 reports.
Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford told The Associated Press city engineers will look at the building's structural integrity.
