Minneapolis: Frigid Air, Sunny Skies to Begin December

A blast of arctic air will bring frigid conditions to start December in Minneapolis.
After highs in the mid-30s on Saturday, a nearly 20-degree drop in temperature will occur on Sunday with highs in the teens along with cloudy skies. Adding to the cold will be breezy conditions with winds out of the northwest at 15 mph. AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures will hover around -3 F.
On Monday, there will be a full day of sunshine, but daytime highs will drop into the single digits, with highs around 8 F.

There will be slight relief from the cold by midweek, as highs return to the 20s Tuesday through Thursday. There is the chance for a snow shower on Thursday.

Overnight low temperatures through Wednesday will range from the single digits to the low teens.
Temperatures will continue to increase into the 30s by Friday and will remain there through next weekend as sunny skies remain.
