Dallas Heat to Continue through Thursday

Temperatures will remain in the 90s across the Metroplex through at least Thursday.
Daytime highs will stay in the mid-90s for the first week of September, right about normal for this time of year.
The door will close on August with nine days at or above 100 F in the Dallas area.

Residents will need to stay hydrated to prevent heat-related medical issues while attending any one of the numerous Labor Day weekend events including the Bedford Blues & BBQ Labor Day Weekend Festival in Bedford, Texas.
Baseball fans will have dry, warm conditions to visit Globe Life Park to watch the Texas Rangers.
The Rangers begin a 10-game home stand on Thursday, starting with a series against Seattle Mariners.
