Cool, Showery Weather Hanging Around Seattle

It will be unseasonably cool with a few showers around the Seattle area through at least Thursday.
The remainder of the Labor Day weekend will feature a mix of clouds and sun, along with a passing shower, into Monday.
Daytime highs will be around 70 F; the normal high for this time of year is 75 F.
August will end unusually wet. As of Saturday, 1.68 inches of rain fell in the Seattle area, double the average August rainfall of 0.80 inches.

The cool weather will linger Tuesday and Wednesday, but the temperature will start to rise toward the end of the week.
No rain is expected Thursday and Friday with lots of sunshine to bathe the region. The daytime high will approach 75 F each day.
