Cooler-than-normal temperatures are in store for Chicago this week.
Highs on Monday and Tuesday will be in the mid-70s, with partly sunny conditions both days and the threat of a passing shower Tuesday evening.
The Chicago Cubs will host the Colorado Rockies in the first of a four-gamer series Monday evening at Wrigley Field. Conditions should be good for baseball throughout the series. However, Thursday's 1:20 p.m. matinee could see weather delays, due to thunderstorms in parts of the area.

The chance of a shower or thunderstorm will return Wednesday, as temperatures approach 80 F. Looking ahead to late week, Thursday and Friday will each see the chance for an afternoon thunderstorm.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 70s through the weekend with mostly sunny skies. It should make for enjoyable weather conditions for those attending the Lollapalooza Music Festival from Aug. 1-3 at Grant Park.
