Thunderstorms are expected to remain in the forecast for the Dallas area through Saturday.
Still, the rain is expected to be a welcome relief to help combat the ongoing drought conditions.
Highs will remain in the 80s Wednesday, with a chance for a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening hours.

Thursday and Friday will have highs in the mid-80s with intervals of clouds and sun and a couple of thunderstorms possible.
