Chicago: April to Arrive With Milder, Wet Weather

Spring weather will accompany the start of April in Chicago this week, bringing along with it plenty of showers.
For the first day of April on Tuesday, partly sunny skies will shine over the city, as average temperatures bring some long-awaited warmth to the city. Temperatures will be in the low 50s for April Fool's Day accompanied by a little bit of wind.

Despite milder weather, overnight temperatures will remain at or near the freezing mark all week.
By midweek, clouds will roll into the area along with rain showers, as temperatures drop more than 10 degrees from Tuesday. Wednesday will feel much colder around the region, as temperatures dip into the 30s.

Rain showers will start on Wednesday and last through Friday.
However, temperatures will rise back into the upper 40s by Friday and continue to increase through Sunday.
In time for the weekend, partially sunny skies will return to the city with temperatures reaching the 50s by Sunday.
Showers will return again on Monday.
