Boston: Freeze Follows Windswept Snowstorm

A blizzard taking aim on the Maritimes Wednesday will spare Boston the worst, but enough snow and wind can occur to cause problems locally.
Only a few inches will fall around Boston, but much heavier snowfall is in store for Cape Cod, Mass., into Wednesday.
The combination of winds gusting past 40 mph and rounds of snow Wednesday morning can lead to poor visibility, slippery roads, downed tree limbs and sporadic power outages. People should anticipate travel problems and disruptions to daily activities due to the conditions and the nearby storm.
In the wake of the storm Wednesday afternoon through Thursday, the weather is forecast to remain cold around the region.

The combination of wind, temperature and other atmospheric conditions will produce AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures in the teens and 20s much of the time on Wednesday.
Thursday will remain chilly, but less wind is in store.
Temperatures will rebound to near normal, 50 F on Friday. However, the milder weather will bring the chance of showers Friday and Saturday.
