After a run into the 60s for the first part of the weekend, it will be much cooler to end 2013 in the Dallas area.
There will be plenty of sunshine ahead of an arctic front that is scheduled to push through the region on Sunday. It will struggle to get to 50 degrees on Sunday with a stiff north-northwest breeze up to 25 mph.
