Wind, Warmth to Add to a Creepy Halloween Night in Harrisburg, Pa.

A potent storm affecting the middle of the nation at midweek will bring wind, warmth and some rain to Harrisburg, Pa., and vicinity Thursday into Friday.
The bulk of the rain will sweep through late Thursday night into Friday morning. However, spotty showers are in the offing during the day Thursday and Thursday evening.
Temperatures will be in the 60s during Halloween evening for the masquerade.

Winds will increase Thursday into Thursday evening. Gusts between 40 and 45 mph are possible late Thursday night into Friday morning.
Leaves will be scattered and trash cans can be knocked over.
The winds could be strong enough to cause flight delays and, when combined with rounds of rain, can pose a challenge for commuters early Friday morning.

The storm and its south to southwesterly winds will bring in warmer air into the end of the week, before chilly winds from the west kick in following the storm over the weekend.
