FISHERS, Ind. -- The stormy forecast for Halloween Thursday has at least one Indiana city changing its trick-or-treat hours.
The police department in Fishers, which is just northeast of Indianapolis, says the high probability of strong storms on Thursday had led Police Chief George Kehl to move back trick-or-treating to Friday evening.

The Weather Channel's severe weather expert Dr. Greg Forbes is predicting a messy Thursday. His forecast calls for a " big area of damaging wind gusts, and maybe even some tornadoes, anywhere from eastern Wisconsin to the lower peninsula of Michigan, all the way down into the Midwest into the Mississippi Valley into parts of Texas." You can see more details in the video below.
WRTV-TV reports three Indianapolis-area shopping malls will offer indoor trick-or-treating hours on Thursday afternoon and evening. Washington Square Mall on the Indianapolis far east side and the Greenwood Park Mall south of the city will have trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday while the Castleton Square Mall will have it from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday. Parent company Simon Malls says participating retailers will hand out candy.
