A wet Halloween could dampen spirits in Minneapolis this week but skies may clear with enough time to send trick-or-treaters out the door.
The rain will begin Wednesday afternoon as clouds overtake the skies. While temperatures will be mild with highs around the mid-50s, a east to southeast wind will gust through the city Wednesday night.
On Halloween, skies will remain mostly cloudy but passing showers could moisten outdoor decorations and yard trinkets.

Showers will subside in the evening hours leaving only wet grounds for trick-or-treaters in the area.
Partly cloudy skies will add to the eerie demeanor of Halloween night.
On Friday, partly sunny skies will make a comeback during the daytime hours but the city may have a passing shower or two. Winds will pick up Friday gusting from the west to northwest between 10 and 12 mph.
However, wind gusts up to 21 mph are possible. Those with Halloween decor outside should consider taking it down, as higher gusts may blow them around.
