After a cooler start to autumn, high pressure brought warmer temperatures to the city.
Temperatures are forecast to rise to the low to mid-70s, beginning on Wednesday. This rise in temperature could be as much as five degrees above average for the end of September.
Those with a morning commute may experience some delays due to morning fog Wednesday through Friday mornings.
Nighttime skies will remain mostly clear with some patchy fog during the late-night hours. Temperatures will dip into the mid- to high 50s overnight.

Sunshine is expected to continue for the remainder of the week into the weekend with the high reaching up to 77 degrees Sunday.

High pressure will hold over the area for the city's first full week of autumn, however some clouds will dim the sunny skies on Sunday to finish out the weekend.
The next chance for wet weather in the city will not near until the following weekend, wrapping up the first week in October.
