Warm and humid conditions will prevail in the Philadelphia area through Labor Day. However, drenching storms may come calling on a couple of occasions.
High temperatures will be in the 80s each day with nighttime lows in the upper 60s to the lower 70s.
After downpours Wednesday, much of Thursday, Friday and Saturday over the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware will be free of rain most of the time. While there is a risk of a pop-up shower, these days should be the best bets for outdoor plans at Great Adventure, Dorney Park, the zoo, ball games, sightseeing or swimming.
The weather is destined to turn more unsettled Sunday into Labor Day from the Poconos to interior southern New Jersey and northern Delaware.
While these days will also bring their rain-free intervals, a system approaching from the Canada Prairies will increase the number and intensity of showers and thunderstorms.
The least rainiest spots Sunday and most of the day Monday are likely to be right at the Jersey shore and along the Delaware beaches.

Folks heading home from their Labor Day or late-summer ventures at the shore and mountains could encounter delays at the airports and on the expressways, turnpikes and interstate highways Monday afternoon/Monday night.
It will not be until a cool front swings through Tuesday, when humidity levels will be shaved and the risk of showers and thunderstorms diminishes.
