The weather will get a little messy this weekend for the next round of college bowl games.
The weekend will begin with the Advocare V100 Independence Bowl at 2:00 p.m. ET Friday. Ohio will take on Louisiana-Monroe at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, La. Cloudy skies and a chance for a shower or two exists in the afternoon. The temperature will be a comfortable 50 degrees F.
Rutgers will take on Virginia Tech at the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando, Fla., at 5:30 p.m. Partly cloudy skies will be present at kick off with a temperature of 67 degrees F.
Finally, the Meineke Car Care Bowl will begin at 9:00 p.m., at Reliant Stadium in Houston. Minnesota will battle Texas Tech under partly to mostly cloudy skies with a mild temperature of 56 degrees F.
Snow becomes an issue on Saturday as West Virginia is slated to take on Syracuse for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. The game will begin at 3:15 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, N.Y. One to two inches of snow is possible with a temperature of 33 degrees F.
Those attending the last two games of the weekend, The Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio and the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in Tempe, Ariz., have little to worry about as conditions will be partly cloudy and cool with temperatures in the mid- to high-50s.
